
I am a shortcut addict. Keyboard shortcuts are faster, easier and more than hold the mouse button, but the real problem is what they are shortcuts. Fortunately, the article by Microsoft for Windows 7 and a complete list of all links in the software giant and the large version.

Shortcut and Effect
Shift+Delete :Delete the selected item without moving it to the Recycle Bin first.
Alt+Enter : Display properties for the selected item.
Alt+Up Arrow :View the folder one level up in Windows Explorer.
Ctrl+Shift+Esc :Open Task Manager (a more direct method).
Windows Key +D : Display the desktop.
Windows Key +R : Open the Run dialog box.
Windows Key +Spacebar :Preview the desktop.
Shift +Windows Key +Number : Start a new instance of the program pinned to the taskbar in the position indicated by the number.
Alt +Windows Key +Number : Open the Jump List for the program pinned to the taskbar in the position indicated by the number.
Windows Key +T : Cycle through programs on the taskbar.
